Class Description: The Tifaifai is Tahitian Appliqué. DiDi will provide simple, time tested methods to produce beautiful Tahitian appliqué. Students will leave the class with enthusiasm and confidence. The free-form appliqué method requires no pins, ironing, spray starch, or major preparation. This is a portable project. Project: A 44" x 44"wallhanging styled from traditional Tifaifai from Tahiti (students have a choice of about 8 designs to choose from) |

Class Description: This class analyzes every movement and product that goes into achieving That Perfect Stitch™. DiDi offers an in-depth review of the currently available and widely used brand name products for quilting. This hand quilting class produces a miniature whole cloth quilt top (16’ x 21’). Project: Students are provided with a kit from Roxanne International. This kit is hand marked miniature whole cloth quilt top, matching backing, batting, needles and thread. There will be several designs available for the students. |

traditional Tifaifai from Tahiti (students have a choice of about 4 designs to
choose from).
The three hour class emphasizes needle-turn appliqué technique. Students leave
with a much smaller project and less actual practice time. |
